Media

All data transfers to CD R/DVD R are priced accordingly if the client does not provide the necessary medium. It is encouraged for all clients to be adequately prepared with sufficient discs.

For large sessions like demos, EPs, full albums and projects involving video, it is recommended that the client provide a minimum 120 GB FireWire hard disk for all necessary data transfers and storage. This is for safety as well as for archival purposes.

Time

For hourly studio bookings the hours are counted starting from the time booked, not the time of arrival. Punctuality is very important for hourly bookings as every minute is precious.

Deposit

All bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a 50% deposit.

Payment of Balance

The balance of all bookings must be paid in full directly after the session.

Cancellations

Cancellations will void deposits paid.

Appointment

Ideally, one week’s notice would be best but we take great pride in making things happen in adverse situations so last minute projects are welcome as long as there is studio downtime.

You’ll never know unless you give us a call.

Operating Hours

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Payment Terms

We prefer cash terms for small projects and welcome cheques for bigger projects. Direct transfers are also accepted as long as there is adequate notice. Depending on the project, instalments are available. Please contact us to find out more.

Master

The release of a master is only upon full and complete payment of the agreed sum.

Equipment

Bands and musicians are most welcome and encouraged to use their own instruments, equipment and gear. It adds the personal touch of having used ones own instrument for a recording and allows him / her to be more comfortable and at ease during recording.

Just let us know in advance if you are planning to do so.

Additionally, if a particular piece of equipment is vital to your project, rest assured that we would source it out for you to be hired either at a very attractive price or absorb the cost, depending on the equipment.

Damages

The client is responsible for any and all equipment used during recording. Any damages during recording are to be paid for by the client. Additionally, any equipment rental that may arise due to any damages to the in-house gear is to be borne by the client as well.
